About Wattanapat Hospital

Located at 247/ 2 Phatalung road, the gateway to downtown of Trang, Wattanapat Hospital was established since 1957. It is a renowned, fully staffed and equipped 120-bed hospital serving people in Trang, Krabi, Phatalung, and nearby provinces for half a decade.

Since the establishment, the hospital has long been called by most people as “Ban Mor Vit (Dr. Vit’s House)” for caring and empathy of Dr. Vittaya, the founder, and his wife (Mrs. Amara). This is the reason why people call this neighborhood as “Sam Yak MOR Vit (Dr. Vit Intersection)”.

Instructions before health checkup

Making an appointment with the Health Promotion Center.
Have some rest for six hours, as not enough rest may have an effect on blood pressure and heart rate.
NPO (nothing by mouth) for about six hours.
Hold your urinary bladder if ultrasound examination of lower abdomen is indicated.
Ten days before, or ten days after menstruation is best period for mammogram, or ultrasound examination of breast.
Please inform hospital staff if you are pregnant, or think you might be.
If you are having the period (menstruation) please inform the staff before urine, or PV examination.
